We are a rapidly growing SaaS Software Company seeking an accomplished Associate Infrastructure Engineer whose primary goal would be to ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with Internal IT teams, and stakeholders to maintain and improve Linux, Unix & BSD based infrastructure, implement best practices, and support the organization’s technology needs.

Role & responsibilities

• Strategize and Implement: Plan and execute the development of our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives.
• Network Management: Oversee and optimize our network infrastructure, including routers and wireless systems, to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  
• Configuration Management: Manage & optimize infrastructure configurations for servers, applications, databases, network, etc. Best Practices: Implement industry best practices and standards for managing our IT infrastructure, maintaining high availability and scalability.
  
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely incident resolution. Data Management: Responsible for taking exit user backups of data and email IDs to safeguard critical information.
  
• User Support: Provide timely assistance to users, resolving their IT-related issues, and managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls to uphold data security.
  
• Asset Management: Maintain a comprehensive IT asset record to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, including regular system backups, to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Your responsibilities also extend to troubleshooting network issues, conducting network performance analysis, and resolving connectivity problems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in Linux, Unix & BSD based infrastructure planning and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure management, with proficiency in routers and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with IT best practices and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Experience in data backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong user support and communication skills. Ability to manage user accounts and access controls for data security.

Graduate / Post-Graduate in Technology related field with a leaning towards business and technology
